I have been friends with Joan for over sixty years and I know what courage, integrity and strength of character she possessed. She drew strength and joy from her love of and from her family, who appreciated her honesty and goodness. Rest in peace Joan
I had the privilege of looking after Joan at Victoria Heights and she was the most loveliest and kind hearted lady I've ever known. She was a beautiful person and l always enjoyed seeing her face when I came to work. Joan you will be missed by so many people and I was glad to of know you. xoxo From Peta Tresize
Well at 5:30am this morning I got a phone call with the worst news of my life that my nanna had past away she was one of the strongest women I have ever met and the best role model you could ever ask for. I always loved sitting down with nanna when she would tell me all of her stories of years ago on the farm and every time there was a new story. I am sure all of the family are going to miss nanna calling us on our birthdays because as soon as you answered the phone nanna would start singing happy birthday and always make us laugh.
I just want to say NANNA I love you more than anything and you will always be in my heart and you will be dearly missed by all of us. Now may you rest in peace in the beautiful gardens up above I love you so much nanna.
